SPECIAL INFORMATION FOR PARENTS : Cartoogechaye has been a "Targeted" Title I School for many years. This gave Cartoogechaye the funds with which to run our Title I programs. Title I creates remediation programs in reading and math for those students that qualify. Community wealth, determined by the number of free and reduced lunches, determine the scale that is used in money appropriation. Cartoogechaye has asked for a waiver to give greater flexibility with the use of these funds. This flexibility will allow for all students to be eligible for help when it is needed.
